While Wynn Las Vegas down at the other end cost more to build, the Steve Wynn’s previous darling has a greater ambiance of luxury. Maybe it’s the high end designers in Via Bellagio like Prada, Hermes, and Tiffany that create the pampered air, or maybe it’s the Tuscan glow of the interior. Wynndow into Billions

Even though the opening was last week, I don’t think anyone will stop talking about the new Wynn Las Vegas anytime soon. The hotel has six different kinds of rooms. Resort Room, Panoramic View Room, Tower Suites Room, Executive Suites, Tower Suites Parlor, and a Tower Suites Salon. As far as I can tell prices range from $259 - $870. Is that all? I thought the lowest room would be much more. My friend Mark from HotelChatter confirms that the low end rooms are indeed, just mediocre.

Caesars Palace

Overview: Caesars was the high roller heaven well before the Bellagio and Wynn Las Vegas came to town. In fact, it’s been a Las Vegas icon since 1966. Today, Caesars continues to grow and hasn’t shown any downsizing since Bellagio turned up across the street. Next up to open on the Caesars campus is a collection of 949 suites called the Agustus Tower. No matter if you’re staying at Caesars or just visiting, the Forum Shoppes is a big draw. Don’t miss the talking fountain shows.
