There are 3 outlet malls in and around Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Premium Outlets, located at the northern end off the Strip at Charleston, is an outdoor mall featuring high-end designers, such as A/X, Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, Dolce & Gabbana, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Elie Tahari, as well as standard brand-name stores like Ann Taylor, Nautica, Banana Republic, Chico’s, and Eddie Bauer. Luggage, shoes, accessories, and housewares are also available in their impressive collection of 120 stores.
Sprinkled throughout the mall are small kiosks, selling knickknacks, sunglasses, jewelry, and cell phones. The proprietors have also strategically placed misters throughout the mall to help cool you off, although their effectiveness is questionable.
The food offerings are standard mall fare with both an indoor food court and freestanding fast food restaurants, such as Subway, Italia Express, The Great Steak & Potato Co., China Pantry.
Beware: During the summer months, the heat is intense and this is an outdoor mall that can take 3 hours to maneuver (allowing shopping time). Either go early or go late, and be sure to keep hydrated.
